Born and educated in South Warwickshire, Dr Khan completed her initial medical degree in Bristol University. She then completed her General Medical training in the South West and her higher specialist Rheumatology training in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
She has been a Consultant Rheumatologist at Solihull and Good Hope Hospitals since 2010 and sees patients with all rheumatological problems including inflammatory arthritis, gout, connective tissue diseases, soft tissue problems such as bursitis and tendonitis and osteoarthritis. She also runs a multidiscliplinary clinic for Ankylosing Spondylitis patients as part of her NHS practice.
Dr Khan is Principal Investigator in clinical trials in the fields of rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis and is also a committee member of the West Midlands Rheumatology training committee which co-ordinates local higher specialty training.
