Dr Salim started work as a Consultant Dermatologist in 2004. She went to school in the UK and graduated from Nottingham University Medical School. She then went on to complete her specialist Dermatology training in Oxford.
Dr Salim is primarily based at Solihull Hospital (Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust) where her NHS practice has been well established for over 12 years. She works privately at Spire Parkway Hospital. She is a general dermatologist seeing patients with a wide range of skin conditions including skin cancer, inflammatory skin conditions (e.g. eczema, psoriasis, acne), mole review and removal and hair loss to name a few. Her special interests are skin disorders affecting the female genital area (vulva) and HIV related skin problems.
