Parkway welcomes patient satisfaction figures

A year-long patient satisfaction study carried out at Spire Parkway private hospital shows that 99.1% of those questioned were extremely likely or likely to recommend the hospital to family and friends.

The survey, carried out by independent market research analysts, Howard Warwick Associates, looks at patient responses from April 2015 to April 2016.

Asked how they would rate quality of service 98.1% ranked it excellent or very good while 98.6% said they were treated with dignity and respect.

Nurses also received high marks with 98.8% of patients describing the level of care and attention received as excellent or very good.

Hospital Director Tony Yates said he was delighted with the latest results but insisted that there would be no complacency in the coming year.

“It is good to look at a year-long section of responses because that gives us the bigger picture as far as patient satisfaction is concerned.

“We are pleased with the way the trends are going, especially April 2016 figures, where we’ve had many categories hitting 100%. Patient care and patient satisfaction is at the forefront of our day-to-day planning and we will be looking to further improve these figures over the next year,” he said.
