Professional profile:
Professor Michael Saleh trained at University of Sheffield Medical School. He developed the Sheffield Ring Fixator for dealing with difficult fractures and limb deformities. It is patented, commercially manufactured by Orthofix SRL and distributed all over the world.

Professor Saleh is an acknowledged world authority in lower limb fracture management, adult and paediatric limb lengthening/reconstruction, deformity correction, external fixation and amputation surgery. He has personally performed 3000 index procedures carefully documented over 16 years as a teaching hospital consultant in adult and paediatric orthopaedics. He has some 250 publications in this field.
