With the unique advantage of dual training both in India and in the UK, Mr Chitale has had extensive and comprehensive training in all sub-specialities of urology. Mr Chitale has over 20 years experience in the field of urology and has performed over 20,000 urological procedures so far. His research interests are in the field of hypogonadism and testosterone therapy, Peyronie's disease and interstitial cystitis.

Mr Chitale has a sub-specialist interest in diseases of the prostate including benign prostatic enlargement, cancer prostate with its early diagnosis and management and most importantly, prostatitis, which affects more middle-aged men than one would expect.

Mr Chitale offers the following procedures; cystoscopy, urethrotomy, TURP, TUR bladder tumour, prostate biopsy, corrective surgery for Peyronie's deformity, vasectomy, reversal of vasectomy, hydrocele repair (adult/paediatric), prepucioplasty, circumcision (adult/paediatric), excision epididymal cyst, variocele ligation, orchidectomy +/- prosthesis.

Mr Chitale is passionate about teaching and has been involved with training undergraduate medical students at the University College London, Medical School. He has been a proud recipient of the Top Teacher Award for the year 2014.
