Common questions

Am I eligible for NHS treatment at a Spire Healthcare hospital?

From early 2007, our hospitals in England became part of what is called NHS Choices. If you need a planned operation or diagnostic test you may be able to choose to be referred to a Spire Healthcare hospital provided that it offers the services you require and has the space available. You need to be referred to the hospital by your GP.

As an NHS patient, will I have any costs for my treatment?

Every aspect of your treatment will be covered by the NHS. You will however, need to pay for personal items such as newspapers, meals for your visitors or telephone calls.

All our patients receive the same standards of care and treatment from our highly skilled staff.

Where can I find more information on Choose and Book?

You can find more information on Choose and Book on the official NHS Choice and Book website.
