Dr Austin is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist and has been on the specialist register for three years. He completed his gastroenterology training at Kings College hospital and St Thomas’ Hospital London. He worked at the Institute of Liver Studies, King’s College Hospital for six years working with patients suffering all aspects of liver disease and completed a period of research.  He has a keen interest in endoscopy and performs all aspects of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy with JAG certification in gastroscopy and colonoscopy, he also performs ERCP and EUS.  He is currently the clinical lead of the endoscopy department at Brighton and Sussex University Hospital.
