The Montefiore can provide rapid access to state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging for all private and insured patients. Whether your clinician believes an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), CT (computerised tomography), X-ray or ultrasound would be most appropriate to support diagnosis – patients from all over Sussex are able to take advantage of highly sophisticated technology within a comprehensive hospital setting.

Lifescan screening coming soon to The Montefiore Hospital

Lifescan is the UK’s leading independent provider of CT health checks. Following Spire Healthcare’s acquisition of Lifescan Ltd in 2011, The Montefiore Hospital now offers Lifescan CT health screening. Lifescan uses state-of-the-art CT scanning to provide screening services to detect heart disease, lung cancer, colon cancer, aneurysm, osteoporosis, and other conditions, including skin cancer.

Lifescan’s services are provided within strict guidelines, approved by the Department of Health, and they were recently registered with the Care Quality Commission in England and Wales.
