Mr Bukhari is a Consultant Neurosurgeon with a particular interest in spinal degenerative disease, paediatric neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery, brain and spinal tumour surgery.
Mr Bukhari completed his higher surgical training in Neurosurgery, including special training in Spinal Neurosurgery, in Manchester. Then he went to Canada/USA to complete a series of sub-speciality fellowships in Functional Neurosurgery at the University of Toronto Canada and Paediatric and Epilepsy Neurosurgery at the University of British Columbia Vancouver, Canada. Mr Bukhari took up the Consultant Neurosurgeon position at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff in 2008 and moved to Salford Royal Hospital, Manchester in August 2012. In addition to his clinical commitments, he is actively involved in teaching medical students and fellow healthcare professionals, he has also written publications.
