Mr Phillips is a Cambridge Graduate, who underwent Orthopaedic training in Sheffield prior to attaining a Fellowship in Melbourne, Australia. He has an adult and paediatric NHS practice based at University Hospital of South Manchester, Wythenshawe.
Mr Phillips' clinical practice is exclusively devoted to shoulder, elbow and wrist fracture surgery. He treats all aspects of both soft tissue and degenerative shoulder and elbow, mostly using minimally-invasive (arthroscopic) techniques .
Mr Phillips has experience in treating elite sportsmen and regularly teaches on training courses in the UK. Recently he has been invited to talk at the British Orthopaedic Association and European Federation of Orthopaedic Research and Trauma on elbow injuries.
