Mr Zarod trained in ear, nose and throat surgery with a special interest in head and neck cancer in the Manchester area. He was appointed as a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a special interest in head and neck surgery and paediatric surgery in 1988 to the North Manchester General Hospital, Booth’s Hall Children’s Hospital and subsequently the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Mr Zarod had paediatric specialty training in Cincinatti and head and neck surgery at the Christie Hospital, Manchester. He has a long history of research, special interest and expertise in the management of Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis
Mr Zarod is a member of British Association of Paediatric Otolaryngology and the Royal Society of Medicine Sections of Otology and Laryngology. He has recently retired from the Council of the British Association of Paediatric Otolaryngology. He now has a specialist interest in adult head and neck cancer surgery and routine paediatric ear, nose and throat problems.
