Dr Annice Mukherjee is a consultant endocrinologist at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust (Hope) and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Medicine and Neuroscience at the University of Manchester.
Graduating from the University of Manchester in 1992, Dr Mukherjee worked in Manchester and London while completing an MSc at King’s College London and an MD thesis at the University of Manchester. Her MD focus was the quality of life and immune function consequences of severe pituitary disease.
Dr Mukherjee leads post-graduate medical training for diabetes, endocrinology and medical weight management at Hope Hospital. Annice has won a number of awards and invitations to lecture at international endocrine conferences and has published extensively in key endocrine journals.
Dr Mukherjee now leads the thyroid, adolescent endocrine and chronic fatigue services at Hope Hospital. She also runs a dedicated pituitary clinic - in her endocrine clinics she provides other specialist management, including treatment of the menopause, other female and male reproductive and adrenal problems, weight management, osteoporosis, vitamin D deficiency and hyperparathyroidism.
