I am an inpatient physiotherapist and have worked at Spire since 2003. My specialist interest is the pre and post-operative care of patients in Orthopaedics and General Surgery.

After qualifying in 1997, I worked within the NHS for 6 years gaining experience in all core areas of Physiotherapy. Following my strong interest in Orthopaedics, I secured my position at Spire Manchester Hospital. 

My wealth of experience and knowledge has assisted in the development of the inpatient service and its growth into the wider team.

I take pride in striving to maintain an excellent standard for patient care and in engaging with our consultants to ensure current best practice is followed. My passion for the profession extends to being a clinical educator, accepting placements for physiotherapy students from local universities. I also attend the annual clinical educator’s panel at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Spire Healthcare’s mission and values are integral to my working practice and the driving force behind ongoing and future projects undertaken for the benefit of my patients, customers and colleagues.
