Ashok Paul qualified in Madras, India in 1983 and then trained extensively in Manchester between 1984-1994. He was then appointed as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon based at Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust at Manchester Royal Infirmary. In addition to his clinical work Ashok is proud to be an honorary lecturer at the University of Manchester and has served as both Clinical Director for the Orthopaedic Department and Chairman of the Clinical Governance Committee between 1997-2005.
His busy, thriving private practice which spans over 14 years is based at Spire Manchester Hospital, where he treats patients from Manchester and the surrounding area. He specialises in general orthopaedic surgery with specific interest in sports injuries, arthroplasty, joint replacements, paediatric fractures, soft tissue tumours, hip surgery, upper and lower limb surgery. Mr Paul is currently Vice Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee at Spire Manchester Hospital and contributes as part of Spire’s national clinical advisory group.
Ashok is proud to be associated with both Barclay’s Premiership Football clubs and Guinness Premiership Rugby clubs in Manchester and the North West.
