Professional profile:

I provide general urological care with a special interest in patients with prostate, bladder and kidney cancer.

I trained in London and Liverpool and was appointed to The Royal Liverpool University Hospital in 2001. I am currently the chairman of the regional specialist multi-disciplinary meeting for the treatment of urological malignancy and Urology cancer led at the Trust.

I am happy to see patients with scrotal swelling, difficulties with the foreskin, urinary tract infection, possible renal stones and difficulty passing urine. In addition many of my patients presented with blood in their urine, an elevated PSA blood test or other abnormal investigation.

We provide a wide range of endoscopic and open procedures including removal of scrotal lumps, circumcision, cystoscopy, stone treatments, removal of bladder tumours, treatment of kidney lumps and prostate surgery and including laparoscopic surgery.

Personal profile:

I am married with two children which occupies most of my time. However, I have a life long interest in cricket and am a member at Lancashire. I continue to play in 20:20 cricket in Division 1 of the Business Houses league and involved with coaching the u9s cricket side at Caldy. In addition I enjoy skiing and hill walking.
