I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in ankle and foot disorders and managing acute foot and ankle trauma at the Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation trust (formerly Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital NHS Trust).

I graduated from Gulbarga University in India, in 1996. My basic surgical training was undertaken in various centres in the UK. I completed my higher surgical training from Newcastle deanery in the North East of England, gaining the higher surgical degree in trauma and orthopaedics.

I completed a dedicated nationally recognised fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Glasgow and was appointed as a consultant in 2013.

I have presented papers in international forums and have published on complex ankle and foot disorders in peer reviewed journals. I am a keen teacher and am also the lead for undergraduate training in trauma and orthopaedics.
