    Dr Barrow has been working as a Psychotherapist in Independent Practice in the Liverpool area since her accreditation by the BABCP professional body in 2010, prior to that she worked as a Chartered Psychologist in Higher Education for over 25 years.

    She chose to train in CBT as it was well suited to her background in Psychology and it has a broad range of applications, for example, it is recommended by NICE Guidelines for both depression and anxiety (which includes Phobia, Social Phobia, Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia, Generalized Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).

    Dr Barrow's Clients have included people who have been involved in accidents (usually referred by their Solicitor or Insurer), people who are having difficulty in work (usually referred by their Employer) and Private Clients (either self-funding or clients with Private Health Insurance) with a wide range of difficulties from sleep problems to lacking confidence.
