Spire Liverpool Hospital recently held a charity event in aid of Harrisons Fund where staff took the opportunity to celebrate after being officially rated as good overall and outstandingly caring following a recent inspection from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Staff and consultants from the hospital received the official rating from Hospital Director, Fergus Macpherson who was thrilled at the news. Fergus said “this is the result of everyone’s hard work, I can’t thank everyone enough, it’s a well-deserved outcome”.
As well as celebrating the CQC outcome, staff and consultants continued the fund raising efforts of Spire Healthcare’s CEO Rob Rodger. Rob cycled a total of 720 km and was joined by Fergus for the Manchester to Blackpool leg, a total of 10-6.4 km. With generous donations from local businesses the hospital raised £377.
