To begin with the staff were all superb from the receptionists to the porters, but special thanks to Dr Ellis and his staff who were not only very professional but also kind and considerate. Not something you see much of these days, Dr Ellis treats people like a friend and not just a patient".

"I had an Ultrasound scan at the hospital and I cannot praise the staff highly enough from reception right through to the X-Ray dept on the day on my Renal Scan. I have only ever visited the hospital once before and I got lost on the way, meaning I was late for my appointment. I telephoned in advance and the lady on reception was extremely helpful and gave me directions to the hospital, she told me not to worry and that she would let the radiology team know I was delayed. When I arrived at the hospital, I was greeted with a smile and directed to the department straight away.
When I got to the X-Ray dept, I was greeted by one of the RN's I had met previously when booking my appointment. I can happily say she is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I work in Healthcare myself and is so nice to be looked after by someone who is so calm and reassuring, nothing is too much trouble for her and she took the time to get to know me as a person as opposed to a patient number and she made me feel relaxed and at ease.
She made me smile at a time when I was actually quite scared, not knowing what to expect as I have never has any hospital treatment or tests before. She talked to me throughout the whole procedure and took my mind off the whole thing. I wish I could remember the lady's name but I can't, I am sure that the lady in question can be identified by the appointment date, I attended at 6.30pm. I really would like you to know that she is a complete credit to your hospital and the care and compassion she shows most certainly gives me the aspiration to treat my patients as a Healthcare Assistant the way she treats her patients as an RN. Absolutely stunning person.
My experience of the whole hospital from the first moment has been friendly, welcoming, clean and convenient. When I have needed to re-arrange an appointment, I have had a response and appointment within two hours. Having appointment available until 8pm is great for those who work in hospitals as shifts can make it difficult to attend during the day, and I find the Spire's flexibility on this to be invaluable! I cannot fault any of the staff there and I am glad I chose this hospital as it has made the whole experience easier at what is an uncertain time in my life and health. It makes all the difference so please pass on my thanks to the team".
