GEC Young Entrepreneurs Schools Day

The GEC Young Entrepreneurs Schools Day was held in March 2012 as part of Liverpool’s week of Entrepreneurship celebrations.

Richard Branson was the keynote speaker at the Opening Conference and Spire Liverpool's Hospital Director, Liz Cousins, sat on the Schools panel as a representative of the healthcare industry alongside leading entrepreneurs:

- Ashok Rao, Chairman of TiE Global , based in the US
- Vikas Shah, Director of Swiscot Manufacturing
- Chris Arnold, CEO of Your Big Year Co
- Sir Rod Aldridge, Founder of the Darwen Aldridge Academy.

The panel answered questions from the school children about how they became directors or entrepreneurs within their industry sector.
