On Saturday 13 October 2012 staff from Spire Liverpool Hospital took part in BraTrek, climbing Mount Snowdon to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. The girls told us that although it was a very challenging and long hard slog of a day they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There were tears and laughs and they nearly lost limbs and some BraTrekkers along the way but they eventually made it to the top. The girls said that they could not be more proud of all that took part on the day and all of those who sponsored them.
At Spire Liverpool Hospital we take our charity fund raising and events very seriously. We are particularly proud of the girl’s as many are not experienced walkers and yet still all made it to the top raising almost £1000.
We would like to say a massive well done to Lynsey Black, Clare Hughes, Georgie Bowman, Hana Hayel, Lisa Price, Kate Jones, Stacy Ware, Sue Losh, Sue Barwise and Melanie Wood.
