Mr Ganta has been on the specialist register for Urology since 2006 after completing his higher surgical training in Urology in the west midlands region in UK. He has an advanced endourology and laparscopic fellowship in Germany. He is the clinical lead in Urology at the Manor hospital where he is a substantive consultant Urologist since 2006. He is also the lead for stone surgery and endourology and andrology.
He specialises in stone surgery and uses holmium laser to fragment stones in the renal tract (kidney, ureter and bladder). He also does prostate surgery using green light laser and also using a bipolar current (Gyrus TURP) He does vasectomy reversals using an operating microscope (better magnification and studies show that using a microscope has better results). He also specialises in problems with erection and infertility. He uses a microscope to facilitate complex surgery to improve fertility and retrieve sperms.
He manages patients with bladder pain, incontinence and urine frequency and urgency, using urodynamics to investigate bladder problems. He administers posterior tibial nerve stimulation for overactive bladder and injections of botox to the bladder.
