I have extensive experience in general orthopaedics and trauma, having worked in this field since 1990. I aim to provide a high-quality, comprehensive orthopaedic service.

My special interests include lower limb surgery mainly joint replacements and arthroscopic surgeries and I have been performing minimally invasive total hip replacements in large numbers, with highly successful results and immense patient satisfaction. I also perform large numbers of total knee replacement and treat sports injuries including arthroscopic ACL reconstruction with hamstring tendons. 

After completion of my higher surgical training on the South Trent rotation based in Leicester, I obtained a consultant post in 2006 at Good Hope Hospital NHS Trust, Sutton Coldfield.

I also am actively involved in teaching medical and postgraduate students and have acted as an examiner for medical students. I regularly contribute to postgraduate training and research and have presented several papers at national and international conferences. I also have successfully written several chapters in orthopaedic books and have been invited to give lectures on various orthopaedic topics which I have duly attended.
