Dr Almallah is a consultant general radiologist with a wide range of clinical experience and skill. He had his basic medical training in Colchester and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2003.
Dr Almallah is a member of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and trained in Radiology at Newcastle and Birmingham. He trained in cross-sectional and non-vascular intervention in Uroradiology at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, University Hospital Birmingham.
He did a post FRCR fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology including Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and joint injection at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre NHS Trust, Oxford 2008/2009. He has been a consultant since 2009 and currently working at Walsall Healthcare Trust. He is the lead of Cardiac CT service development in the hospital.
In 2011 Dr Almallah was offered a grant for fellowship in Cardiac Imaging by European Society of Radiology where he worked for three months as Cardiac Imaging fellow at University Hospital Basel, Switzerland.
Dr Almallah is a member of the British Society of Urogenital Radiology (BSUR), European Society of Radiology (ESR) and member of the Executive Committee of Birmingham Davison of British medical Association (BMA). He has published and presented at national and international meetings. He is enthusiastic on service development and provision of high quality radiology service. He is also keen on teaching and e-learning.
