Mr Abraham has been a Consultant Trauma and Paediatric (Childrens) Orthopaedic Surgeon based at Leicester Royal Infirmary for 8 years.
He trained in Newcastle and at the Booth Hall Childrens Hospital in Manchester. Prior to that he was a medical student in Edinburgh where he also completed his junior training. Mr Abraham’s clinical practice consists of both adult and paediatric trauma with particular expertise in circular frame fixation for complex peri-articular fractures, non union and infection.
Mr Abraham’s primary clinical practice is the field of children’s orthopaedics. He is experienced in managing bone and joint conditions affecting newborns all the way to fully grown teenagers. The health of children affects schooling, extra curricular activites and the emotional wellbeing of children and their families. Mr Abraham is particularly adept at addressing these concerns.
Mr Abraham’s practice also includes both adult and children’s fractures with particular expertise in circular frame fixation for complex peri-articular fractures, malunion, non union and infection. He performs up to 350 operations per year at Leicester Royal Infirmary and of these, over 200 are for children.
