Dr Phil Thomason has been a GP since 2001 and a partner at Burbage surgery since 2004. It gives him huge satisfaction treating a wide variety of patients with many different complaints. Having trained in Leicester both at the University and on the GP training scheme Dr Thomason has got to know many of his consultant colleagues and the hospitals well. A gap year at age 30 to New Zealand helped broaden his horizons before returning to Burbage to take up his current post.
Dr Thomason has been able to develop his interest in ENT and run a stand-alone clinic as well as working as a clinical assistant. He also has interests in asthma/COPD, orthopaedic medicine and joint injections.
