After qualifying in medicine I trained in anaesthetics before becoming a GP. Recently retired from the NHS, I spent 37 years as a GP in rural Leicestershire treating a wide variety of patients with many different medical conditions. I now see patients privately at the Spire Stamford Clinic.
In addition to my work as a GP, for the 5 years I have been visiting a tea plantation in Darjeeling, India, spending 3 weeks working voluntary as a GP and teaching first aid to the factory workers there.
As well as my extensive experience diagnosing and treating general medical conditions I have a special clinical interest in Women's Health, offering Well Woman health checks including breast and pelvic examinations. I also undertake occupational health, HGV and pre-employment medical checks.
