My post at the Leicester Royal Infirmary (LRI) is based at the adult dermatology outpatients department, where I do general dermatology clinics, skin cancer screening clinics and skin surgery. I am one of the two consultant dermatologists leading the paediatric dermatology service at LRI. I offer Spire Hospital Leicester patients the same expertise I continue to develop through my NHS work.

I have practiced dermatology since 1995. Over the years, I have developed expertise in both common and rare dermatology complaints. I enjoy the challenges of caring for patients with skin diseases that are difficult to diagnose clinically and have good links with the skin pathologists at the LRI.

I am very effective in supporting and managing patients with chronic skin disease, such as eczema and psoriasis. With them, I decide on the treatment they need depending on their personal, inter-personal or professional circumstances.

I am a committee member of the National Undergraduate Dermatology Teachers Group of the British Association of Dermatologists. I have been tutor of online sessions and examiner on Cardiff's diploma in Practical Dermatology since 2004.
