Vascular physiotherapy services

A six week, twice-weekly exercise course is available to patients with peripheral vascular disease.

Call 0113 218 5951 for a physiotherapy appointment with a highly qualified physiotherapist

The course is particularly suitable for improving exercise tolerance and reduction of symptoms in those suffering from intermittent claudication which causes pain in the calf muscles when patients are walking.

The course includes advice on medication, diet and secondary prevention and patients are discharged with a long term home exercise programme to follow.
