Marcus qualified as a physiotherapist in 2009 from Huddersfield University. He started his physiotherapy career ar Mid Yorks NHS Trust assessing and treating a wide variety of conditions, focusing mainly on orthopaedics and MSK out-patients.
Marcus then moved into private practice at a busy and well established clinic in Greater Manchester. Here his skills and knowledge progressed as he focused on sports injuries and rehabilitation. In addition, he worked at Doncaster Rovers and Burnley FC, concentrating on return to sport rehabilitation. Marcus then spent a year in one of central London's biggest practices, where he established close working relationships with London's leading consultants.
Marcus has a high leve sporting background, including playing football semi-professionally for England Independent school boys and is a single figure handicap golfer. He also has a BSs (hons) in Sports Science at Loughborough University which gives him experience of setting tailored and realistic goals.
Marcus moved back to West Yorkshire and joined the Spire team early in 2015 working as a senior physiotherapist. His clinical interests include post-operative and knee and shoulder rehabilitation and sports injury rehabilitation.
