Your responsibilities
The Sterile Services Department Assistant is part of the decontamination team, providing a service to the multidisciplinary theatre team within the operating theatre suite. You will be responsible for the cleaning, sterilising and packing of theatre instruments. You will ensure theatre instruments are correct and ready for use, monitoring repairs and checking for functionality.
What we're looking for
- The ideal candidate will have experience in the field, but on the job training will be given to untrained staff.
- Effective Hand/eye co-ordination required.
