Your responsibilities
Spire Southampton Hospital requires a qualified and state registered Biomedical Scientist to join our small dedicated team in a well equipped Histopathology laboratory. The department is busy and forms part of a multidisciplinary laboratory. You will plan, analyse, assess and report Histopathology investigations, ensuring the pathology service is provided in an accurate, efficient and cost effective manner. You will develop plans to improve the service and assist in the maintenance of the quality system for CPA accreditation.
What we're looking for
- You must be a fully HPC registered Biomedical Scientist.
- Ideally you will have a broadly multidisciplinary background with a specialism in Histopathology.
- Evidence of continual professional development is desirable.
