Your responsibilities
As a Senior Biomedical Scientist at Spire Hartswood Hospital, you will work across a range of services provided by the laboratory, including blood transfusions, haematology, biochemistry and immunology. You will plan, analyse, assess and report pathology investigations, ensuring the pathology service is provided in an accurate, efficient and cost effective manner. You will help develop plans to improve the service and assist in the maintenance of the quality system for CPA accreditation.
What we're looking for

Degree qualified in HNC Medical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent

Registered as a Biomedical Scientist with the Health Professions Council

A multidisciplinary background is desirable, but training will be provided for the right applicant. Previous experience in Haematology and/or Biochemistry is essential
