We are looking for Bank Physiotherapists to work occasional shifts supporting the department in busy periods.
Your responsibilities
Spire Hartswood Hospital requires a Bank Physiotherapist to add to their well resourced and supportive Physiotherapy department. Based in Musculoskeletal Outpatients, you will provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice for our wide range of patients. You will competently assess and diagnose the patient's condition using sound clinical reasoning. You will then choose appropriate treatment from a range of options to meet treatment objectives and improve the patients wellbeing. You will be able to explain clearly to patients how they can positively contribute to their treatment plan.
What we're looking for
- Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Health Professions Council Registration
- At least 2 years post-grauate experience with experience of musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Knowledge and experience in a range of approaches to the management of patients in this area of practice
- Attendance at relevant in service training and post graduate courses. Evidence of continued professional development
- Would be expected to work to flexible working pattern to meet needs of service (evening and/or Saturdays) inclusing weekend orthopaedic rota
