Physiotherapy

As a member of one of our physiotherapy teams, you’ll have exposure to a wide range of clinical conditions and specialities, providing treatment for a variety of in-patient and out-patient conditions.

You will have access to modern, specialist equipment – some of our hospitals have fully equipped gymnasiums and hydrotherapy facilities – and you will work directly with consultants and specialist clinical teams, liaising with them on a daily, one-to-one basis.

In-patient services include orthopaedics, general surgery, gynaecological surgery, medicine, neurology, cardiac surgery, critical care, plastic/cosmetic surgery and oncology.

Out-patient services include all aspects of acute and chronic musculo-skeletal care including spinal conditions, soft tissue injuries, repetitive strain injury, orthopaedic trauma, sports injuries, post surgical orthopaedics and rheumatology.

Ash Patel
Out-patient service manager
“ I moved to Spire Healthcare as a physiotherapy manager after spending 20 years working in the NHS. I was offered the chance to further my management career, whist at the same time retaining my clinical workload.
Treating patients is still the most satisfying part of my day and I have the time and resources to offer a high quality physiotherapy service.   I have been given the opportunity to put my management skills to the test in a new role as an out-patient services manager.
There can be a misconception that working in private health care is an easy option – I can assure you that, in my experience, this is not the case – it is both challenging and a rewarding environment to work in.”
