Fertility treatment prices and funding options at IVF Scotland are designed to be clear, comprehensive and competitive. We offer a fixed price for treatment agreed in advance at a competitive rate, called inclusive care.

IVF Scotland can be arranged with a fixed price agreed in advance
Many patients will self-fund their fertility treatment, although some patients may be able to use private medical insurance, provided that their insurer will cover fertility tests and treatment. Finance options are also available with 0% finance loans (APR typical) available from First Medical Loans for approved customers.

Counselling
Counselling sessions during and up to two months after each treatment cycle (up to four sessions) are included in the cost of treatment. Additional sessions will be charged at a rate of £100 each.
Sperm donor fees - changes to payments
The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) has recently announced a change to the system for compensating sperm donors. From April 1st 2012 sperm donors will receive £35 for each visit to our clinic.
Inclusive Care
Inclusive care pricing offers our patients reassurance that the price quoted includes no hidden or additional charges. As such, the cost of your fixed package for treatment will include many of the tests, scans and drugs that other assisted conception providers will not. The inclusive care pricing scheme comes into effect once a patient's fertility treatment has begun. However, patients will be asked to pay separately for all assessments, tests and investigations that are conducted prior to treatment being commenced. This is because not every individual who attends IVF Scotland will require fertility treatment and it offers our patients a clear and easy payment plan at every stage. Your bill will be sent to you well in advance of your treatment starting and we do ask that you pay in full for your treatment prior to coming into hospital.

Requesting patient notes
