IVF Scotland is a private fertility treatment centre that opened in 2010 in Edinburgh. The centre is based in a bespoke unit at Spire Shawfair Park Hospital in the south of the city. We offer expert fertility assessment and treatment to all individuals and couples, whether single, same-sex, or married. Our service is regulated by the Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority (HFEA) - the UK's independent fertility regulator - as set out by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act (1990).

How to access our service
Our service is based at Spire Shawfair Park Hospital in Edinburgh. We welcome patients from the Lothians, across Scotland, and international patients. You can self-refer for private fertility treatment or ask your GP for a referral to IVF Scotland. IVF Scotland has no waiting times for fertility treatment, so you can access consultant advice, assessment and treatment when you need it. As fertility treatment can be an emotionally and physically stressful time, support services including counselling and a support network group are available to lend a helping hand at any stage of your treatment pathway.
