Mr Devarajan gained his MBBS and subsequent MS(Ortho) degrees in India and moved to the UK to get advanced training in trauma and orthopaedics. He completed specialist orthopaedic training in the Oswestry/Stoke and the North West Rotation and obtained his CCT in Trauma and Orthopaedics in October 2006. He developed a sub specialist interest in foot and ankle surgery and also completed a Fellowship in Adult Lower Limb Reconstructive surgery. He trained in Wrightington and Wigan, Royal Preston, Stepping Hill, Royal Blackburn and North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary whilst gaining the above specialist experience. He provides a comprehensive, evidence based complex fore foot and hind foot tertiary referral work in addition to routine knee surgery. He is also proficient in dealing with sports injuries to the knee and ankle. He is well versed in advanced minimally invasive and uni- compartmental joint replacement surgery of the knee.
