Losing weight can change (and indeed save) your life, reducing the health risks associated with obesity such as high blood pressure, heart disease, infertility, stroke, type 2 diabetes, back pain and depression.

According to UK research*, bariatric surgery could cut the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 80% more than standard care. Far fewer patients who received weight loss surgery over the past 12 years developed diabetes than patients who did not receive surgery.

Our weight loss surgery packages include pre-operative support , surgery, accommodation in one of our clean and comfortable private en-suite rooms, post-operative care, specialist support for up to one year after surgery, up to four band fills for gastric band surgery, and fast access to cosmetic surgeons experienced in post weight loss cosmetic procedures such as excess skin removal if required.

We also offer rescue packages for weight loass patients who have had surgery elsewhere and are looking for post-operative support only.

Our specialist weight loss nurse has a clinic on Friday mornings to administer band fills for a fixed fee of £100.

"Only three weeks after my surgery I was diabetes free! A blood test from my GP showed 'Non Diabetic'! I no longer need medication for it, my readings are now 4.5, 4.8. I no longer have the worry of any health implications caused by diabetes.

"I am currently five months post-op and having regular, normal periods. The hair growth associated with PCOS has gone. I am not at my target weight yet (I am aiming to lose another two stone) but I have lost over 87% of my excess weight. My life, thanks to Mr Mannur and Claire, has been reborn."
