General practice is faced with urological diagnosis, treatment and management issues on a daily basis. This workshop will provide an update on recognising and dealing with haematuria, lower urinary tract symptoms, male and female urinary incontinence and prostate disease. Whilst the sessions are primarily designed to deal with adult conditions, please feel free to raise any relevant paediatric issues with our specialists.
This free educational event is open to GPs, GP registrars, locums, nurse practitioners/practice nurses and can count towards continuing professional development (CPD).
Four consultants and our Urology Nurse Specialist, Lee Griffin will run small group workshops to present the different approaches for dealing with patients who need urological care.
Delegates will have the opportunity to present cases for discussion and the consultants will give their opinion regarding treatment. In response to feedback from our previous clinical workshops, this event will be held in a larger area, allowing better interaction between speakers and delegates.
Our event on 27 November will be held at the Holiday Inn in Brentwood, Essex with talks by Consultant urologists Professor Jayanta Barua, Mr Sandy Gujral, Mr Tanvir Vandal, Mr Shiv Bhanot and Urology Nurse Specialist Mr Lee Griffin.
The event is free but numbers are limited. To book your place, or for more information please call Michael on 01277 266 717 or e-mail Michael.firstname.lastname@example.org letting us know your name, home postcode and how you heard about the event.
