This free educational event is open to GPs, GP registrars, locums and nurse practitioners/practice nurses and can count towards continuing professional development (CPD).
The day will be hosted by consultants and delegates will have the opportunity to present cases for discussion and the consultants will give their opinion regarding treatment.

Cardiac arrhythmia presenting as palpitations, dizziness and faints – when to reassure and when to refer. This session will include practical scenarios using ECG recordings to show different arrhythmias

Guidelines for investigating chest pain and screening the over 40’s for cardiovascular disease, and the role of advanced imaging including Cardiac CT scanning. The session will include how to take a proactive approach with your intermediate cardiovascular risk patients.
