New Zealand visa medicals

Spire Hartswood Hospital offers a one-stop service for New Zealand visa medicals. We are approved by Immigration New Zealand to provide visa medical and radiological (X-ray) examinations for people planning to visit or live in New Zealand. All of the required components of the examination, including panel doctor consultation, blood tests and X-ray, can be carried out at Spire Hartswood Hospital in Brentwood, Essex.

We are a designated eMedical Centre, which enables us to process your medical application quickly and securely online, improving the turn-around time of your visa application. Check out the blue panel (below right) for more information on eMedical.

We try to provide appointments to suit your needs. If you're in a hurry, we often have appointments available at short notice or if there's no urgency, you can schedule your appointment well in advance.

Spire Hartswood Hospital is conveniently situated just outside of the M25, with good transport links to London and the South East.

How do I make an appointment for a New Zealand visa health examination?

  • Name, date of birth, address, contact number and email address

Important notes regarding your appointment:

We advise that you thoroughly check the type of medical required of your visa application (general or limited medical). We are unable to act in an advisory capacity.

As part of the health examination blood tests will be carried out for individuals aged 15 and over. A urine sample may also be required, so you should drink plenty of water in advance of your appointment. If female, do not schedule your examination during menstruation.
