Laser verruca treatment is available all week through the Spire Hartswood Hospital physiotherapy team.
Verrucas are a type of wart which affect the sole of the feet and look like small rough bumps, sometimes with a black dot (blood vessel) in the middle. They can be painful to walk on and painful to treat using traditional methods.
Spire Hartswood Hospital offers low level laser therapy as a virtually pain free verruca treatment for patients of all ages, including those who are pregnant.
Often 5-10 sessions are recommended and each session is 30 minutes long and approximately two weeks apart.
Your verrucae will be re-assessed at each session to check the progress and the treatment programme tailored as necessary.
Infection control and laser safety processes are in place throughout your treatment in a clean and safe private hospital environment.
Patients will leave with medical tape covering the treated area and are advised to continue applying tape in between treatments for 50% of the time, leaving time for the skin to breathe in between applications.
There is no need for a GP referral. Simply call 01277 266 780 to book your appointment.
