Nisha Patel graduated and qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from University College London in 1995. Since then she has worked with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders in both children and adults.
She is now a clinical lead speech and language therapist at Queen’s Hospital, Romford where she specialises in the field of voice and swallowing disorders. She has extensive clinical experience in treating a wide range of voice disorders and has worked with professional voice users such as actors, singers and teachers.
Nisha provides training to other speech and language therapists, nurses and doctors in voice and swallowing disorders and is currently involved in research projects with the Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) department at Queen’s Hospital.
