Mr Gervase Dawidek is a consultant eye (ophthalmic) surgeon at Spire Hartswood private hospital in Brentwood, Essex, offering private eye surgery in our clean and comfortable private hospital.
Mr Dawidek is pleased to see both adults and children with ocular motility problems during his clinic time at Spire Hartswood Hospital. Mr Dawidek is one of a few consultants that specialise in newborn and young children with eye problems such as severe 'sticky eye' and squints.
As well as undertaking a share of the routine cataract work on adults, Mr Dawidek performs small incision cataract surgery, and treats age related macular degeneration, sometimes with the use of an injection. Mr Dawidek is complimented on his kind nature towards his patients.
He was a senior registrar in the West Midlands but the lure of the south east where he grew up, proved too much and Mr Dawidek moved back a few years ago.
Outside of work, my main interest is foreign travel and am a very keen skier.
