I qualified in 1989 from Eastbourne School of Podiatry with a BSc in Podiatric Medicine. Having an interest in diabetes, I took on an offer to set up and establish a diabetic foot care service at the QEII Hospital in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. The service became part of a multidisciplinary team and I was able to work alongside an excellent team of professionals which included a Consultant in Endocrinology, diabetes specialist nurse, dieticians, physiotherapists, orthotists, prosthetists and other medical practitioners such as junior and senior doctor, rheumatologists etc.
In 1997 I married and started a family, returning back to practice in early 2001 this time exclusively in private practice. I developed my interest in bio mechanics, orthoses, sports injuries, podopaediatrics (foot, ankle and walk problems in children) and minor surgery for ingrown toenails and verrucas. This includes nail and skin surgery.
I see children aged three upwards and adults.
