Mr Burtt is an orthopaedic and trauma surgeon with a subspecialty interest in foot and ankle surgery and lower limb surgery. He believes in tailoring non-operative and operative treatment options to the individual.
Mr Burtt trained on the South East Thames orthopaedic higher surgical rotation between 2000 and 2006, and was appointed to his current post in 2007. He successfully completed a Fellowship in sports medicine at Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre in Australia in 2005, and a visitation to Dr Pascal Rippstein, co-developer of the Mobility Ankle Replacement at the Schulthess Klinik, Zurich, Switzerland in October 2011.
He performs the following procedures: hip replacement, knee replacement, ankle replacement or fusion, arthroscopy for knee and ankle conditions, foot and ankle surgery and bunion surgery.
