Dr Vik Watts carried out his psychiatric training as a Registrar at St. Georges Hospital and his further training as a Senior Registrar was at the Maudsley Hospital, London. He worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Chase Farm Hospital in Enfield and became an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Royal Free Hospital in 1997.
He has a keen interest in the experience of the patient and consequently the best therapies and therapeutic approaches, which will suit any individual patient. He does prescribe medicines but sees his role as attending to the patient in their entirety and not on a narrow basis.
Currently Dr Watts now practices privately at The North London Priory and consults at Spire Harpenden Hospital on Monday mornings.
