Dr Crichlow is a Consultant Dermatologist with the Luton and Dunstable NHS Foundation Trust and manages the full range of in-patient and out-patient skin disease across all age ranges and in all skin types.
She completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of the West Indies. She then did her core medical training in Plymouth, UK followed by Specialist Dermatology training in Leicester, UK.
It was in Leicster that she developed a particular interest in Dermatopathology (the microscropic evaluation of the skin) which gives her great insight into the pathogenesis and management of skin disease. In relation to this, she completed one year as a Clinical Fellow in Dermatopathology at the University of Leicester NHS Trusts in 2009. She also has a particular passion for the special problems associated with darker skin types such as dark marks following acne, problems with scarring such as keloids, hair loss and general hair care. Dr Crichlow also offers Cosmetic dermatology treatments including chemical peels, wrinkle relaxing injections, fillers, laser treatments for scarring and rejuvination, skin tightening treatments and liposonic fat reduction.
Dr Crichlow fully understands that skin disease, while not often life threatening, has a huge impact on quality of life. She strives for excellence and aims to offer a high level of service and best practice to her patients.
