Dr Kote Samsheer is a gastroenterologist certified in colonoscopy, gastroscopy, general gastroenterology and hepatology. He studied medicine at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore in India. Over the last 11 years he has trained as a specialist physician in various hospitals across England. Dr Samsheer completed his gastroenterologist training with the London Deanery.

In addition to general gastroenterology including indigestion, abdominal pains, colon cancer surveillance, he has a particular interest in inflammatory bowel diseases, Irritable bowel syndrome, endoscopy and nutrition.

Dr Samsheer specialises in Wireless (Video) Capsule Endoscopy which is a test for examining the small bowel, by swallowing an electronic capsule which takes pictures as it travels through the small intestine.

His aim is to provide the best in health care for all conditions related to the gastrointestinal tract and the liver.

Dr Samsheer is a family man, with a wife and two young sons. He enjoys going out with his family and when not working, endeavours to spend as much time with them as possible.
